Do You Want An All-Rounder Or A Studious Nerd?
As time is passing, our horizons are widening gradually. Now it is no longer considered that academic is the only way to become successful in the struggle of life. Though academics still being of primary importance, there are educational institutions, which are taking the extra curricular activities seriously, as one can also shape his career out of such fields which generally is compartmentalized as co-curriculum in maximum schools, like singing, dancing, recitation, and the list is endless. Today we can see the number of people who are making a mark for themselves in the entire world, by becoming a good dancer, anchor, quizmaster, and again the list goes on endlessly.
It is very important to give the extra curricular activities their due importance. Other than reading and writing one should also consider these activities, which imparts a healthier growth to the intellect and body. A true all rounder student is the one who knows how to read as well as knows how to recite. He should be able to wield the willow as well as he holds a pen.
After now-a-days nobody want their son to be a geek, who comes to the school only to learn to read and write. Everybody wants to breed an all rounder who excels in every walk-of-life, in every field of competition. Even the teachers must understand that the scope of knowledge does pertain to book, notebook and white board. There is a world outside too.
