The Problem is Spam E-mail

Spam e-mail essentially is any unsolicited mail that you receive. It could be bulk or not. Usually they don’t have signatures that are clear. It could be from anyone anywhere. Installing exchange antispam is not the only solution. If fact if not properly considered this could result in lots of mail losses. This is not to say that filtering spam before it actually gets to your computer is bad. In fact if you have a spam filter exchange is a good idea. 

To help minimize this problem, it is good to have a spamfilter exchange server that is dedicated solely to this. The server will scan all incoming mails before it is delivered to the users. Similarly a junkmail exchange server can be of great help. In it all suspected spam could be directed then a user can check later to see if there is a misplaced mail. 

Not all mail filtered by the software as spam is actually spam. You could get other important mails being misplaced. Don’t rush into calling help desk for missing mails before you actually find out if they are misplaced. 

Spam should not let you stop your work. Know how to tackle them and get your system working.
